Where
From Kensington Church Street to Westbourne Grove
Kensington, Notting Hill, Bayswater and South Kensington are the most architecturally varied part of our map, and the architecture is what shapes the delivery. A white stucco terrace in W11 may have a raised ground entrance, a basement flat with its own gate and no numbering on either; a Holland Park villa may be set back behind a hedge; a mews house may have no letterbox at all.
We also deliver to the communal garden squares, where the address given is often the house rather than the gate that is actually in use. If your recipient’s entrance is not the obvious one, a single line in the notes saves everybody a telephone call.

How an arrangement reaches a Kensington address
Stucco terraces and basement flats
Where a house has been divided, the flat letter matters more than the street number. Give us “Flat 2” or “Garden Flat” at checkout and the driver goes to the right bell first time. Without it, our driver will ring every bell politely — which works, but is not the arrival you paid for.
Communal garden squares and mews
Several of the W11 and W8 squares have one pedestrian gate in use and two that are locked. Our drivers know most of them. For a mews address, the number is often painted on the garage door rather than displayed at eye height, so a mobile number for the recipient is useful even when they are expecting nothing.
Embassies and residences
Kensington Palace Gardens, Palace Green and a number of addresses around Queen’s Gate are diplomatic, with a security post, a bag check and a log. These are straightforward deliveries provided the recipient’s full name and, where relevant, their department is on the order. We do not attempt to leave flowers at a security post without a name.
Hotels and serviced apartments
We deliver to hotels across W8, SW7 and W2, including The Peninsula at Hyde Park Corner on the Kensington side of the park, and to serviced apartments around Lancaster Gate and Queen’s Gate. Give the guest’s full name and check-in date; the arrangement is handed to the concierge.
What we take there
New babies, dinner-party thanks and the flowers a house move deserves
More flowers go to Kensington and Notting Hill for a new arrival or a new house than for any other reason. They are family postcodes with a high turnover of addresses, and the two occasions overlap more than you would think.
The other constant is hospitality. W11 entertains at home, and a box that arrives the morning after, unannounced, with a card in your own words, is worth more than anything sent on the day. For a boutique opening or a gallery evening along Westbourne Grove or Ledbury Road, we also make pieces to scale and set them in place ourselves.

The details that decide the day here
Requesting a particular hour
Deliveries run between 8am and 9pm, and we do not promise a precise hour — the Cromwell Road and Notting Hill Gate make a liar of anyone who does. Write the hour you would prefer in the additional delivery information box and we will plan the route around it wherever the day allows.
If the recipient is out
Our driver telephones the recipient, then you. Where it is safe, the flowers are left with a porter, a neighbour or in a sheltered spot with your card; otherwise they come back with us and go out again once we have spoken to you. Fresh flowers are never left in the sun.
Keeping it a surprise
Our team may call ahead to make sure someone is in. Tell us in the notes if you would rather they were not contacted and we will not telephone them.
If you do not know the address
Order as normal, enter your own address for the moment, and add “address to be confirmed” with the recipient’s name and mobile number. We arrange it with them quietly, without revealing what is coming.
Delivery cost
W8, W11, W2 and SW7 are within our central London area, and the charge is calculated by postcode at checkout. Addresses further west — towards Shepherd’s Bush or Chiswick — carry a flat charge beyond central London, shown before you pay.
What is in the box, and what is not
The flowers and your card, handwritten. No invoice, no price — the receipt comes to you by email.
